she looks into the eyes

of this person who seems

to be staring back at her

as she is tearing at the seams

she thinks she knows all about this girl

with the beautiful eyes

but the only thing she seems to see is

a hollow inside

she doesn't try to see if

this girl is happy or content

she just sees her imperfections

and scouls at the body lent

​

to her by her god

that she is staring at right now

she doesn't see the light within

because somehow the fuel is out

​

she drops into the darkest pit

unable to save herself

all she wants in this little world

is a reason to be proud of herself

she walks away from the mirror

with a hundred thoughts

maybe the only answer is 

to give back the life she sought

​

she don't feel the power inside of her

because of the kryptonite

maybe one day she will stop wishing

that all her days turn into nights

you gotta see the light within

and bring it to the surface

of all the things you don't see

your beauty is the biggest

​

its the mountain right in front of you

that you chose to ignore

if only you could fix your map

and find the perfect road

the road that leads you

on the path of self-love

all you need is a jump start

and all the scars will heal themselves

you have the power inside of you

but its buried deep

you have to work hard and dig it out
